James R. Greno, Jr.
Senior Wealth Advisor
I bring over 24 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong commitment to helping my clients pursue their financial goals and work toward a secure future. Before founding Compass Wealth Management in 2020, I worked with several notable financial advisory firms, including Prudential, Financial Services Corp (FSC), LPL Financial, and Raymond James.
Before entering the financial services industry in 1999, I retired after a distinguished 24-year career in the Air Force, where I served as a Load Planner. The skills I developed in the Air Force—such as dedication, attention to detail, and exceptional client service—are the same attributes I apply when serving my clients today.
As a Dave Ramsey SmartVestor Pro*, I’m passionate about guiding my clients through comprehensive investment planning, creating portfolios that align with their unique goals and objectives. My focus includes tax-smart portfolios, retirement and estate planning, as well as portfolio and risk management. I work primarily with clients who are nearing retirement, military veterans, and business owners.
I studied business administration at Robert Morris University and Texas Christian University. I hold a Life, Accident & Health Insurance license, along with FINRA Series 6, 7, and 66 licenses held through LPL.
My wife, Teresa, and I have been married for 34 years, and we live in Glenshaw, PA. We have two children, Anthony and Kirsten, both married. In my free time, I enjoy snowmobiling, endurance cycling, golfing, and playing pickleball. I’m also active in the local community, mentoring through the Leading and Mentoring Program (LAMP) at Northway Christian Community Church, serving on the Military Affairs Advisory Board with the Chamber of Commerce, and having held the position of VP of government relations for the Air Force Association. Additionally, I volunteer as a guest speaker in local schools through InvestWrite and serve as a judge for the SIFMA Foundation’s Invest It Forward program for students in grades 6-12.
*The SmartVestor program is a directory of investment professionals. Neither Dave Ramsey nor SmartVestor are affiliates of Compass Wealth Management or LPL Financial.

Andrew A. Koch, III
Director of Business Operations
My interest in business and entrepreneurship began in high school near Bloomsburg, PA, where I competed nationally during both my junior and senior years as part of Future Business Leaders of America.
I graduated from Geneva College in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering. After graduating, I worked in civil and environmental engineering and earned my professional engineer certification in December 2020.
Soon after college, I developed a passion for personal finance, which led me to teach a Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University class in early 2019. This experience guided me to become the Director of Business Operations at Compass Wealth Management. In this role, I love using my skills in critical thinking, numerical analysis, and financial plan development to help others find confidence in their personal finances.
I hold my Life, Accident, & Health Insurance license and have completed the FINRA Series 63, 65, and 7 licenses.
An avid sports fan with a recent love for pickleball, I own a home in the McCandless/Allison Park area.
